ABOUT
I’m a documentary film maker whose work has shown internationally on PBS, National Geographic, Arte, History Channel, the BBC and Netflix.
My films have won several international prizes, most recently the duPont-Columbia Award from the Columbia School of Journalism, New York.
Born in the UK, I began my TV career in LA in the early 2000s. After a spell at the Guardian in London I started to direct documentary, and for the last 15 years have made films all over the world. Today I live in New York.
What I love most about my work is the incredible cast of people it has introduced me to, from artists to activists, climate scientists to spies. Across hundreds of hours of interviews I’ve brought dozens of unheard or forgotten stories to the screen.
To all my projects I bring journalistic rigor, visual creativity and a fluent, cinematic style. And I’m always hunting for new stories to tell.
